BORA

bora.hib.no

HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, & Joomla

Published four years ago, this is the new responsive, multi-language website for BORA - the institutional archive of Bergen University College.

The archive contains a large collection of scientific material produced at the College, including Masters and PHD theses, articles, and academic papers from all departments within the institution.

A fairly simple project, the new BORA site was designed and developed at Wild Dog Design. I was responsible for developing the front-end of the site from flat InDesign files, and on top of the Twitter Bootstrap framework. These static templates were then integrated into their Joomla back-end and tied into their pre-existing archive database.

The final development is a clean, crisp, and responsive website making it as easy as possible for site users to find relevant reference material and research, regardless of whether their access is via a desktop computer or a mobile phone.
