HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, & Skeleton
eCRM is a marketing website for Underwired, London's longest-established digital CRM marketing agency. The eCRM site was launched in mid-2013 as a partner to the original Underwired website (which was at that point, over a year old).
The project was primarily a responsive, HTML5, front-end development built from client-provided designs and schematics. The page structure is based around an animated horizontal accordion which then switches into a vertical stacked accordion layout for smaller screen devices. Developed using jQuery, the accordions feature CSS3 animations where possible and enhance small-screen usability by ensuring that the viewport always focuses on the opening panel. Some panels also enclose a second-level of tabbed navigation (at desktop viewports), which then become nested stacked-style accordions when the screen narrows.
For this project I opted to use the Skeleton Framework, modifying the grid structure to suit before building the site itself on top. Aside from the responsive/layout features of the front-end, the development also makes use of SVG assets (with PNG fallbacks) to target newer high-density screens such as the Apple Retina display; this also allows for easier scaling of the assets to accommodate the differing page layouts.
